Packshot

The main goal of packshots is to show selling products as realistically as possible and that way helps to advertise it in print or online media. This term can be also substituted for a product placement.

Creation of packshots is a creative process which can be done basically in two ways. First way is to physically take a picture of the product with the camera on the white background, edit it and use it for advertisement. Second way of creating packshot is to digitally make it with software.

The latter way can be oftentimes cheaper and less time consuming for companies. Digital creation doesn’t require good lightning, large space, special props etc.
